ESA Central Jersey Bariatrics, LLC's affiliated hospitals and centers highly specialize in various surgical procedures and have conducted them for many years. Central Jersey Bariatrics provides the very best care in advanced surgical procedures to their patients-- without having to travel far from their homes. A New York trained general surgeon, Dr. Washington, has brought many years of medical and surgical experience right here to Monmouth and Ocean Counties, performing the latest in gastrointestinal endoscopy, advanced laparoscopic or minimally invasive surgery, and bariatric (weight loss) surgery. Dr. Washington is an affiliate of CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold, New Jersey.
Central Jersey Bariatrics, a subsidiary of Endo-Surgical Associates since 2006, provides such procedures as gastric bypass surgery, gastric sleeve and laparoscopic adjustable gastric band for treatment of obesity. Bariatric or weight loss surgery is often reserved for those who are severely obese and have tried repeatedly to lose weight through diet, exercise, and weight-loss medication. Potential patients usually undergo medical and psychological evaluations to determine if they are candidates for this surgery.
Perhaps most important, ESA surgeons and clinical staff want patients to know that they come first. "Our patients love us because we take the time to explain the procedures," says Dr. Washington.
